The Air Jordan 12 shoes were the first one to be released separately from Nike and solely under MJ's brand. That is why there is no 'Swoosh' logo visible on it. Although, it remains a subsidiary of Nike.

Lastly, Michael Jordan had a legendary performance with the Air Jordan 12 Retro shoes. In 1997, playing against the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Jordan has scored 38 points despite having a fever of 103°F. Jordan led his team, Chicago Bulls, to the victory, claiming yet another title.
