atmos x Air Jordan 12 'Clear Jade' Brings an Iconic Colorway Back to Japan

Japanese sneaker retailer atmos is revisiting one of its most recognizable design signatures with the Air Jordan 12 'Clear Jade.' The Japan-exclusive release brings the retailer's familiar teal color palette to Michael Jordan's twelfth signature sneaker, continuing a legacy of collaborations that have helped shape sneaker culture.

The colorway draws comparisons to the legendary atmos x Nike Air Max 1 'Elephant' from 2007, which became one of the retailer's most celebrated collaborations. Its combination of dark tones, vibrant teal accents, and distinctive packaging helped establish a visual identity that remains closely associated with atmos nearly two decades later.

For the Air Jordan 12, that influence appears through Clear Jade accents across the mudguard, midsole, and collar, contrasting against the sneaker's predominantly black upper. Pure Platinum details complete the color scheme, giving the silhouette a familiar atmos-inspired appearance.

The connection extends beyond the sneaker itself. A special elephant print shoebox references the retailer's earlier Nike collaborations, adding a collectible element that longtime atmos fans will recognize.

The release also continues atmos' history with Jordan Brand. In 2017, the retailer introduced an Air Jordan 3 collaboration alongside a Safari-inspired Air Max 1, further connecting its signature design language with Jordan's basketball heritage.

Unlike that earlier release, the Air Jordan 12 'Clear Jade' does not appear to have a matching Air Max counterpart. Instead, it arrives as another Japan-focused Jordan release, following the Air Jordan 12 'Sumo,' which launched exclusively in the country earlier in 2026.

The atmos x Air Jordan 12 'Clear Jade' debuted through an exclusive presale at atmosCon 2026, held from October 31 to November 1 in Japan. The sneaker was priced at ¥31,900, with no wider release currently announced.
