Air Jordan 3 'Not Nice' Lands on Santa’s Naughty List

Jordan Brand is showing a different side of Christmas with the Air Jordan 3 'Not Nice.' Instead of the bright, cheerful colors usually associated with the holidays, this upcoming release takes inspiration from the other side of Santa’s list with a darker and deliberately worn-in design.

The sneaker starts with crackled Velvet Brown nubuck, allowing lighter golden tones to emerge through the distressed surface. Black leather and trim deepen the palette, while the Air Jordan 3’s signature elephant print combines black with dark red around the toe and heel.

An aged tan midsole continues the weathered aesthetic without turning the sneaker into a full vintage treatment. Challenge Red accents appear more selectively across the tongue, stitching, and interior, while a small section of green underneath provides one of the clearest nods to traditional Christmas colors.

The holiday story becomes more obvious through details that are partially hidden. Nike Air heel tabs can be lifted to reveal “Not Nice” embroidery underneath, turning one of the Air Jordan 3’s most recognizable features into part of the theme.

Inside, the insoles feature “Checked It Twice” in gothic lettering alongside red Jumpman logos. The phrase references Santa’s famous list while matching the darker personality Jordan Brand has created around the colorway.

'Not Nice' will also have a counterpart. Jordan Brand is expected to release a brighter Air Jordan 3 'Santa,' creating two opposing holiday interpretations of the same silhouette for the 2026 season.
