Nike Dunk Low SP “Community Garden” Out Next Week
Since pictures of the then Nike Dunk Low SP “Lemon Wash” surfaced online, sneakerheads have been debating whether it’ll be an actual colorway. Recently, Nike has confirmed this upcoming release by giving it the “Community Garden” name.
Following the previous Travis Scott Dunk Low, the “Community Garden” colorway features a DIY-style patchwork theme.
While the primary color scheme consists of Midnight Turquoise, Cardinal Red and Lemon Wash, the key elements of the upper have to be the canvas material and floral graphics.
From the patchwork, colors and graphics, everything on the upper reminds us of things we expect to find in our grandma’s house. To highlight this feeling, the Swooshes, laces, heel tabs and tongue tags come in the warm shade of Lemon Wash.
Underfoot, the midsole appears to have a slight cream tint. Complementing it is the light green outsole, which is reported to have been constructed by the eco-friendly Grind Rubber. If true, it will make the “Community Garden” one of the most sustainable Dunks out there.
Think these kicks are already quite unique? Good news for you: every pair of “Community Garden” will be one-of-a-kind due to the use of unfixed patterns on the upper.
If this sounds like a holy grail to you, remember the September 10th release date and look out for any online raffles! The retail price tag will be $100 USD.
