Teddy Santis Signals a Bolder Shift for New Balance Made in USA SS26

Teddy Santis is adjusting the temperature for Spring/Summer 2026. After several seasons dominated by restrained greys and muted earth tones, the New Balance Made in USA line is opening up its palette — without abandoning the measured design language that defines it.

The rollout begins February 26 with two anchor models: the New Balance 992 'Olivine' and New Balance 990v4 'Olive Leaf.' Both lean into soft green hues that feel transitional rather than loud, signaling that this season’s experimentation will remain controlled. They serve as a bridge between the familiar and what’s next.

From there, the collection widens its scope. The New Balance 1300 and additional 992 releases split into two clear directions: one rooted in heritage (grey-based uppers, layered suede, classic mesh foundations), and another that pushes toward brighter territory with blues, greens, and peach accents. The contrast suggests Santis is exploring how far he can stretch the Made in USA identity without compromising its elevated feel.

Further down the calendar, the New Balance 993 'Passion Fruit' introduces sharper yellow notes, while upcoming 990v4 and 992 colorways experiment with purple tones and retro-inspired blocking. The shift isn’t chaotic — it’s calibrated. Even the more expressive pairs maintain the clean construction and premium material execution expected from the domestic line.

Rather than reinventing silhouettes, Santis appears focused on recalibrating mood. SS26 feels less like a departure and more like an expansion — a reminder that Made in USA can handle vibrancy as confidently as it handles greyscale staples.

The New Balance Made in USA Spring/Summer 2026 Collection launches globally beginning February 26, 2026, with releases staggered through June. Retail pricing is set between $185 and $220 USD.
