Air Jordan 6 'Xuan Wu' Arriving as China-Exclusive Release

Jordan Brand continues celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6 with a mix of retro releases, collaborations, and new design concepts. While fan-favorite colorways like the 'White Infrared' are returning, the brand is also introducing fresh ideas that expand the legacy of the iconic silhouette.

One of the latest additions to the anniversary lineup is the Air Jordan 6 'Xuan Wu.' The theme first appeared on the Air Jordan 1 High before returning on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, forming a small series built around a refined, luxury-inspired aesthetic.

The Air Jordan 6 version carries that same elevated design language. A black leather upper forms the base of the sneaker, featuring raw-cut edges and subtle burnished detailing throughout the panels. These elements give the shoe a handcrafted appearance while reinforcing the premium direction of the concept.

Additional texture appears along the sidewalls, drawing inspiration from formalwear materials. This layered approach adds depth to the design and separates the pair from traditional Air Jordan 6 releases.

Gold accents bring contrast to the darker base, appearing on the Jumpman lace shroud, lace lock, and insoles. The metallic touches highlight the luxury theme while maintaining the bold structure that defines the Air Jordan 6.

The Air Jordan 6 'Xuan Wu' is expected to release in Summer 2026 as a China-exclusive drop, following the same regional release approach used for the earlier Air Jordan 1 versions tied to the theme.
