Steph Curry’s Li-Ning Era Begins With Limited China Tour PEs

Steph Curry’s next signature sneaker has yet to be revealed, but fans will soon have an opportunity to own some of the shoes that helped introduce his new chapter with Li-Ning. A collection of Curry player exclusives is expected to receive a limited release during his upcoming China tour, bringing several of the performance models he wore while exploring the sneaker market to consumers for the first time.

Leading the group are four Way of Wade 12 colorways. Black, white, pale pink, and teal editions each take a relatively understated approach with mostly tonal constructions, allowing Curry’s newly redesigned personal branding to become the defining detail. His updated logo appears across the tongue and heel, effectively transforming Dwyane Wade’s signature model into an early Curry PE without significantly altering the underlying Way of Wade 12.

A black Jimmy Butler 4 is also included in the collection. Curry previously wore the model during his footwear free-agency period, with the dark colorway connected to the “Batman” comparison surrounding Butler and the Warriors. The releases capture an unusual transitional period in Curry’s sneaker career. Instead of immediately introducing a signature model, Li-Ning has been placing his identity across existing performance franchises as the two sides prepare for what comes next.

Curry’s revised logo first appeared on a golf PE before making its way onto these basketball models, giving fans an early preview of the visual identity expected to follow him into his Li-Ning era. Attention will eventually turn toward Curry’s first signature basketball shoe with the brand, but these PEs offer a snapshot of the period before that model arrives. For collectors, that could make them an especially interesting piece of the transition.

The Steph Curry x Li-Ning PE collection is expected to release in limited quantities during Curry’s China tour from September 9–14, 2026, with stops scheduled in Beijing, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.
