Nike Unveils the G.T. Cut 4

Nike Basketball is pushing its performance line forward with the debut of the Nike G.T. Cut 4, releasing January 2026. Designed for the next generation of hoopers, the latest entry in the Greater Than series focuses on amplifying court feel — the defining attribute of the G.T. Cut lineage — while introducing Nike’s most advanced cushioning system yet.

Blending futuristic design with top-tier innovation, the G.T. Cut 4 was shaped through extensive insights from athletes whose games are faster, more versatile, and more creative than ever. The silhouette features a full ZoomX 3.0 midsole paired with a parabolic Zoom Strobel, working alongside RBR-X foam and a Cushlon carrier for a combination of comfort, responsiveness, and stability. A new generative traction pattern supports razor-sharp cuts and quick changes of direction, keeping players locked in whether they’re shifting pace or creating separation.

The upper is built for seamless movement, highlighted by a low-profile, snug fit with a 3D-molded collar, molded vamp tongue, and an exoskeleton-style containment system that provides secure lockdown without sacrificing mobility. First worn by Nike athlete Paige Bueckers during WNBA All-Star Weekend, the model made its global debut at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, positioning it as one of Nike Basketball’s marquee innovations for 2026.

Joining the newly introduced G.T. Future, the G.T. Cut 4 continues Nike’s Greater Than philosophy — crafting footwear around specific player needs. Where the G.T. Future is built for vertical athletes who dominate with bounce, the G.T. Cut 4 is engineered for hoopers who rely on feel, footwork, and precision. Both silhouettes share a modern, expressive design language that speaks directly to the next wave of basketball culture.

With bold aesthetics, advanced tooling, and athlete-driven engineering, the Nike G.T. Cut 4 represents Nike’s commitment to building the future of basketball footwear — creating products that match the creativity and confidence of the players shaping the game’s next era.
