Nike SB P-Rod 1 'All-Star' Arrives in February

Paul Rodriguez’s debut Nike SB signature shoe continues its comeback run with an All-Star–inspired edition that connects skateboarding heritage with basketball’s biggest stage. The Nike SB P-Rod 1 'All-Star' arrives as part of the broader NBA All-Star Weekend 2026 energy, highlighting the long-standing overlap between skate culture and hoops.

This colorway draws inspiration from Kobe Bryant’s 2011 All-Star Game jersey, worn in Los Angeles during his MVP performance. Rather than leaning on heavy graphics, the design communicates its theme through color and small details. Deep red suede covers the upper in varying tones, while darker midsole elements ground the look. Gold accents on the Swoosh and branding add contrast, and a subtle “WEST” lace dubrae ties the shoe directly to the Western Conference.

The approach reflects Nike’s tradition of keeping event-based storytelling understated. Instead of overwhelming the silhouette, the brand allows the P-Rod 1’s legacy to remain front and center. As one of the most important models in Nike SB history, the shoe helped define early-2000s skate footwear by blending durability, performance, and everyday wearability.

With its All-Star connection and faithful construction, the P-Rod 1 'All-Star' feels less like a novelty and more like a respectful continuation of a classic. It reinforces how Nike SB continues to honor its roots while finding new cultural touchpoints. The Nike SB P-Rod 1 'All-Star' will release on February 10, 2026.
