Nike KD 19 'Bubble Gum Bounce' Arrives For Summer

Kevin Durant continues expanding his latest signature line with the upcoming Nike KD 19 'Bubble Gum Bounce,' one of the louder colorways attached to the silhouette so far. Covered almost entirely in bright Hyper Pink, the release leans into a candy-inspired visual approach while keeping the focus on the shoe’s futuristic shape and performance technology.

The upper, midsole, tongue, liner, laces, and outsole all arrive in matching pink tones, creating a near-monochromatic presentation from top to bottom. Rather than relying on layered graphics or contrasting overlays, Nike allows the sculpted shape of the KD 19 to become the main design feature. Subtle branding details also keep the visual focus on the overall form, with a low-contrast Swoosh and minimal KD logos integrated throughout the build.

The shoe’s most recognizable design element comes from its exterior TPU structure. Nike developed the shell through a dual-injection process that serves both performance and visual purposes. One layer creates critical heel and midfoot support, while the second forms the silhouette’s dagger-inspired shape — a direct nod to Durant’s long-running “Slim Reaper” nickname.

Performance technology also takes a major step forward underfoot. The KD 19 introduces a multilayer cushioning setup built around the return of Nike Basketball’s full-length Zoom Strobel system, a technology first introduced in the KD 12. The setup combines with a plush Cushlon 3.0 midsole and a molded sockliner to create a more responsive and comfortable ride designed for movement throughout an entire game.

Additional support comes through a reinforced midfoot shank that improves stability during cuts, changes of direction, and extended play. Breathable textile construction around the tongue also helps maintain airflow, while smaller details — including Durant’s jersey numbers incorporated into the outsole — complete the overall design.

The Nike KD 19 'Bubble Gum Bounce' is scheduled to release on July 1, 2026, for $155 USD.
