Nike Air Max 95 'Paisley' Adds Subtle Pattern Detailing
Air Max 95 returns with paisley details.ByAaron ShamimMay 22, 2026

Nike is revisiting paisley detailing once again, this time applying the pattern to the iconic Nike Air Max 95 in a more understated way. Rather than relying on bright colors or oversized graphics, the upcoming release keeps things subtle through layered neutrals and tonal print work.
The Air Max 95’s wave-like side panel design naturally lends itself to patterns, and Nike uses that structure to its advantage here. White mesh runs through the upper, creating separation from the darker sections while keeping the overall presentation balanced and lighter in appearance. Black details cover the tongue, lining, laces, toe sections, and portions of the sole unit, giving the shoe a stronger contrast throughout.

The paisley pattern itself appears across the side panels in Light Graphite and Light Charcoal shades. Instead of applying one uniform print throughout, Nike gradually shifts the tones from lighter near the collar to darker closer to the midsole. That transition maintains the familiar gradient effect long associated with the Air Max 95 design language.
Smaller details continue the cleaner approach. Black rope-style laces add texture to the upper, while a mini Swoosh near the heel keeps branding understated. Standard Air Max tongue patches and Nike Air heel branding preserve the model’s recognizable identity without introducing additional visual clutter.
Underneath, a black midsole and outsole keep the lower half grounded in darker tones. A lightly tinted blue heel Air unit introduces a small color break, while the striped midfoot shank underneath adds another classic design element tied to the Air Max 95.
The Nike Air Max 95 is expected to arrive during Summer 2026.
