Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 'Blueberry' Release Date

After an initial release through Awake NY, one of Angelo Baque’s latest Jordan Brand collaborations is ready for a much bigger stage. The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 'Blueberry' will receive a global launch on August 29, bringing the limited collaboration to Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers around the world.

Rather than relying on traditional Air Jordan 6 color blocking, Awake NY builds the sneaker around multiple shades of blue. Midnight Navy, Game Royal, and Light Blue move throughout the design, creating tonal variation while keeping nearly the entire shoe within the same color family.

Suede provides much of the upper’s texture, while premium Saffiano leather overlays introduce a noticeably different finish across select panels. Small doses of Infrared 23 then interrupt the blue palette, connecting Awake NY’s interpretation back to one of the colors most closely associated with the original Air Jordan 6.

Awake NY branding is incorporated into the tongue and other smaller details, while the heel receives a customized interpretation of the classic Nike Air treatment. The approach allows the collaboration’s identity to remain visible without replacing the design language of the Air Jordan 6 itself.

The 'Blueberry' follows Awake NY’s earlier 'Bubblegum Pink' Air Jordan 6, but considerably more pairs have reportedly been produced this time around. Production of the blue edition is limited to 25,000 pairs, compared with just 10,000 for its pink counterpart.

That still doesn’t necessarily make the release easy to secure. Part of the inventory was already distributed through Awake NY’s initial launch, while the remaining pairs will now be divided between SNKRS and Jordan NBHD retailers across multiple markets.

The collaboration continues a growing relationship between Awake NY and Jordan Brand, pairing Baque’s New York streetwear perspective with one of Michael Jordan’s defining early-'90s signature silhouettes. The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 'Blueberry' releases globally August 29, 2026, and will retail for $230 USD.
