Jordan Brand is flipping the script with the Air Jordan 3 'Rare Air' on May 30, 2025, as part of its "Rare Air" collection. This release aligns with Jordan Brand's new design strategy of reimagining iconic models with fresh details that honor their heritage and will be a part of a larger collection, including the Air Jordan 11 and Air Jordan 4.

The Air Jordan 3 'Rare Air' features a bold Black, Chile Red, Neutral Grey, Military Blue, and Coconut Milk color palette, aligning it with the aesthetic of the upcoming Air Jordan 4 of the same series. Built with premium tumbled black leather, this pair sets itself apart with a cleaner, more modern take on the silhouette. The traditional elephant print is replaced by smooth Neutral Grey suede on the toe guard and heel, offering a sleek and refined update. Accents of Coconut Milk on the midsole and heel tab contribute to a vintage-inspired finish, staying in step with the ongoing trend of aged details in modern retros. What truly defines this release, however, is the inverted “Nike Air” logo on the right heel—a mirrored twist on the classic branding that adds a layer of intrigue and exclusivity.
