The Nike Kobe 8, designed by Eric Avar, debuted in 2012. Inspired by soccer footwear, it featured a lightweight, low-cut design for speed and breathability.  This iconic shoe, favored by performance purists, is making a comeback in 2023 as part of Nike's partnership with the Kobe Bryant Estate.
