The Pokémon Trading Card Game is expanding once again with the upcoming Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising set, scheduled to release on May 22, 2026. The new expansion introduces a wave of powerful Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards, continuing to build on one of the franchise’s most popular battle mechanics.
Leading the lineup is Mega Greninja ex, a formidable card expected to become a centerpiece for many competitive decks. Known for its speed and tactical battle style within the Pokémon universe, Mega Greninja brings a fast and aggressive presence to the tabletop game.
Several other Mega Evolution Pokémon also join the expansion. Players will be able to collect and battle with cards like Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Floette ex, and Mega Dragalge ex, each offering new strategic options during gameplay.
In total, the Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising expansion will feature more than 120 cards. This includes over 20 Trainer cards designed to support deck-building strategies, as well as more than 35 cards featuring special illustration treatments that highlight both Pokémon and their trainers through unique artwork.
With new Mega Evolution cards entering the format and a large pool of collectible artwork cards, the set is expected to attract both competitive players and collectors alike.
