Pharrell x adidas Jellyfish Goes Dark With 'Frozen Green' Colorway

Pharrell Williams and adidas are continuing to build out the Adistar Jellyfish, this time giving the exaggerated silhouette one of its darkest color palettes yet. The upcoming 'Dark Brown/Frozen Green' edition arrives September 19 and represents another step in the Jellyfish’s evolution from a difficult-to-find Pharrell project into a more established part of the adidas lineup.
First spotted on Chief Keef, the colorway trades the brighter appearance of earlier releases for an earthy combination led by deep brown. The shade spreads across much of the sneaker’s layered construction, emphasizing the bulky proportions and technical detailing that have made the Jellyfish instantly recognizable.

Off-white sections are layered throughout the upper, providing separation between the overlapping panels and sculpted support pieces. Frozen Green then supplies the standout accent, bringing flashes of brighter color to the otherwise subdued design. The combination gives the Jellyfish a noticeably different personality from the light and futuristic palettes that initially helped establish the model.
Pharrell and adidas have steadily expanded those possibilities throughout 2026. The 'Triple White' leaned fully into the sneaker’s futuristic side, while 'Crystal Sand' introduced softer neutral shades. The upcoming 'Timber' and 'Dark Brown/Frozen Green' editions push the silhouette further toward rugged, autumn-ready colors.

That expanding selection also signals a change in availability. Jellyfish releases were considerably harder to secure throughout 2025, but adidas has gradually increased the number of colorways reaching consumers as Pharrell’s distinctive runner becomes a larger part of his ongoing work with the brand.
Despite the changing palettes, the core design remains intentionally oversized. Layered panels, sweeping structural elements, and a substantial sole give the Jellyfish the exaggerated proportions that separate it from more conventional retro runners. The Pharrell x adidas Adistar Jellyfish 'Dark Brown/Frozen Green' releases September 19, 2026, and will retail for $300 USD.
