Nike is set to release the GT Cut 4 'Preheat' in Persian Violet/Glacier Blue on February 3, 2026, delivering a bold evolution of the G.T. Cut line. With sleek, chrome-inspired finishes and sculpted construction, this latest iteration blends futuristic aesthetics with the responsive court feel Nike hoopers have come to expect.
The G.T. Cut 4 is built for the next generation of players who demand speed, agility, and connection to the court. Nike’s design team reimagined the silhouette with a molded upper, ventilated side “gills,” and an exoskeleton-casted construction to enhance containment and support while keeping the shoe lightweight and fluid. The low-profile fit, paired with a ZoomX 3.0 midsole, parabolic Zoom Strobel, and Cushlon carrier, delivers best-in-class cushioning, traction, and stability.

First unveiled on-court by Nike athlete Paige Bueckers at WNBA All-Star Weekend and later showcased at the China International Import Expo, the GT Cut 4 represents Nike Basketball’s commitment to athletes shaping the game today and tomorrow. The design merges performance innovation with a forward-looking aesthetic that speaks to both style and function. Holographic packaging and an iridescent dust bag further reinforce the premium, collectible nature of this release.
“The G.T. Cut 4 pushes the game forward and is built to match the feel, speed, and creativity of today’s athletes,” says Ross Klein, VP and Creative Director, Nike Basketball. “We evolved past models with new technologies and insights from players around the world, creating a shoe made for the future of basketball.”
With its combination of advanced materials, innovative cushioning, and bold futuristic design, the Nike GT Cut 4 'Preheat' delivers a silhouette that feels at once modern, high-performing, and rooted in Nike Basketball’s heritage of innovation. The Nike GT Cut 4 'Preheat' releases February 3, 2026.
