Kith, Messi and adidas Unite for Special Anniversary Collection

Kith, Lionel Messi and adidas are coming together for a special three-way collaboration that celebrates two significant milestones: Messi’s two-decade World Cup journey and Kith’s 15th anniversary. The collection merges football performance heritage with lifestyle design, creating a lineup that connects different eras of the sport with modern streetwear culture.

On the performance side, the collection introduces several football-focused silhouettes including the adidas COPA Mundial 17 Ultra Boost, adidas F50 Megaride, and adidas F50 Walkable Cleat. The F50 models specifically reference the boots Messi wore during the 2006 FIFA World Cup, marking the beginning of a global career that would eventually define an entire generation of football.

Kith also expands the project beyond the pitch with lifestyle footwear additions. Two versions of the adidas Handball Spezial join the collection alongside the classic adidas Superstar, bringing football-inspired storytelling into more everyday silhouettes.

The apparel side of the release continues the same theme. A redesigned version of Messi’s 2006 Argentina jersey headlines the collection, accompanied by goalkeeper tops, gloves, tracksuits, nylon warm-up pullovers, and matching accessories. Together, the pieces bridge archival football inspiration with Kith’s modern design approach.
