Jordan Brand Introduces the Triangle Performance Basketball Shoe

Jordan Brand has officially introduced the all-new Jordan Triangle, a performance basketball silhouette designed to support players across every role and style of play. Built around modern movement demands, the new model combines advanced cushioning, support systems, and traction technology into one platform aimed at hoopers at every level.

The name itself draws inspiration from the legendary triangle offense, one of basketball’s most recognizable systems built around spacing, movement, and versatility. Jordan Brand uses that concept as the foundation for the sneaker, positioning it as a shoe capable of supporting everything from scoring and defending to cutting, screening, and constant off-ball movement.

Performance innovation sits at the center of the Triangle. The model combines ZoomX foam in the forefoot with an Air Zoom unit in the heel, creating a dual-cushioning setup intended to balance energy return with impact protection. A Cushlon 3.0 carrier sits beneath the foot as well, adding another layer of responsiveness and comfort during longer sessions on court.

Additional support features continue throughout the design. An injection-molded shank plate reinforces stability around the midfoot, helping players stay controlled through hard cuts and rapid changes of direction. Underneath, Jordan’s full-length Hart Rubber 2.0 herringbone outsole provides traction coverage designed for both offensive and defensive movement.

The upper also introduces a woven construction inspired by carbon fiber, creating a lightweight structure built around airflow, durability, and containment. That focus on breathability aligns closely with Jordan Brand’s goal of supporting athletes through longer periods of play, especially younger players spending increasing amounts of time on the court.

Jordan athletes have already begun highlighting the model’s performance benefits. Cameron Boozer and Sarah Strong both emphasized the cushioning and responsiveness of the shoe, noting how the setup supports movement across both ends of the floor.

The Jordan Triangle will release globally on July 2, 2026, in Baltic Blue, Volt, and Hyper Punch colorways.
