Jordan Brand is giving one of the Air Jordan 4’s most recognizable color-blocking formulas a new direction for Holiday 2026. The upcoming Air Jordan 4 'Pink Thunder' takes the dark foundation of the long-running Thunder series and replaces its familiar bright accents with a softer Rust Pink finish. It will also mark the first Thunder-inspired Air Jordan 4 created specifically for women.

Black dominates the upper, extending across the shoe’s panels, netting, and surrounding hardware. Rust Pink then breaks through the darker base beneath the mesh, around the lace wings, and across portions of the midsole.

The result keeps the identity of previous Thunder releases intact without simply repeating an existing colorway. Rather than using a particularly vibrant shade, the more subdued pink creates contrast while maintaining the darker overall appearance of the shoe.

The formula traces back to the Air Jordan 4 'Thunder' from 2006, which paired a predominantly black construction with bold yellow accents. That release established a recognizable template Jordan Brand would eventually revisit with other interpretations.

The 'Red Thunder' swapped yellow for red, while the later 'White Thunder' explored the concept with white detailing. 'Pink Thunder' continues that progression by introducing another accent color while retaining the black-heavy foundation connecting the series.

Its women’s-exclusive positioning also gives this release a distinction from previous versions. In addition to women’s sizing, preschool and toddler pairs are expected, extending the Holiday release into smaller sizes. The Air Jordan 4 'Pink Thunder' releases December 19, 2026, with women’s pairs priced at $220 USD.
