Bad Bunny and adidas are continuing their expanding partnership with the release of the adidas Ballerina 'Flamboyan.' The latest colorway draws inspiration from Puerto Rico’s flamboyán tree, known for its striking red-orange flowers and strong presence throughout the island.

A vivid red finish dominates the upper, giving the silhouette an immediate visual impact. White Three Stripes branding cuts through the side panels for contrast, while tan detailing along the midsole introduces a slightly aged, vintage-inspired touch. The slim shape of the Ballerina remains intact, reinforcing the more fashion-oriented direction of the model.

Additional details continue the collaborative identity. Gold “benito” branding appears near the side panels, while co-branded adidas Para Bad Bunny graphics land on the insoles. Toggle-style laces also return, adding a functional detail that separates the silhouette from more traditional lifestyle sneakers.

Compared to some of Bad Bunny’s earlier adidas projects, the Ballerina takes a noticeably sleeker approach. Rather than oversized tooling or layered construction, the model leans into a lower-profile shape that blends sport-inspired references with contemporary fashion styling. The 'Flamboyan' edition pushes that concept further through stronger storytelling and more expressive color usage.

The release also highlights how closely Bad Bunny continues tying his footwear projects back to Puerto Rican culture and identity. Instead of relying solely on celebrity branding, many of his collaborations build around personal references and visual themes connected to the island.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Ballerina is scheduled to release on May 30, 2026, priced at $120 USD.
