The inspiration comes from Jordan's original comic-themed "Dunk" T-shirt, which featured illustrated artwork of a soaring Michael Jordan surrounded by bold colors and comic-book styling. More than four decades later, Jordan Brand is translating that design language directly onto one of its most beloved silhouettes.

The Air Jordan 4 arrives in an Off White, Anthracite, and Fire Pink color palette. Off-white leather covers most of the upper, providing a clean backdrop for the colorful details inspired by the vintage artwork. Beneath the signature side netting and tongue mesh, a gradient blend of yellow, orange, and pink mirrors the colors found on the original 1985 graphic.

Comic-book influences appear throughout the design. The upper wing eyelets feature vibrant pink burst graphics that resemble the action bubbles commonly found in comic panels, while red accents around the lower eyelets add another playful touch.
