adidas Believe That 1 Expands Anthony Edwards’ Line at $100
Edwards gets an affordable adidas performance model.ByAaron ShamimFeb 18, 2026

adidas is taking a broader approach with Anthony Edwards’ footwear empire. Following the breakout success of his signature series, the brand is introducing the adidas Believe That 1, a performance model designed to lower the price barrier while keeping Edwards’ identity front and center.
The timing is strategic. Fresh off another high-profile All-Star Weekend appearance, Edwards’ visibility continues to surge, and adidas is capitalizing by widening access to his line. Rather than positioning the Believe That 1 as a stripped-down afterthought, the model functions as an entry point — offering recognizable design language and on-court capability at a more attainable price.

Visually, the silhouette borrows selectively from the adidas AE1. A V-shaped upper construction frames the lacing system, subtly echoing his debut signature. However, the Believe That 1 adopts a slightly more robust profile, with a synthetic side cage that enhances structure and ventilation. Underfoot, Dreamstrike cushioning provides impact protection and responsiveness, while a straightforward traction setup keeps the focus on grip and durability. Edwards’ personal logo is integrated into the outsole, reinforcing that this remains firmly within his performance family.
Two launch colorways are slated for release: a versatile all-black option and a peach-inspired edition that nods to Edwards’ Georgia roots. Priced at $100 for adults and $80 for kids, the model reflects adidas’ effort to scale Edwards’ presence across multiple price tiers without diluting brand identity. The adidas Believe That 1 is scheduled to release on June 1, 2026.
