Gucci sets its horsebit hardware at the vamp of this women's Horsebit Mary Jane Ballet Flat, the metal bit-and-ring motif the house has used since the 1950s. 'Ancora Jacquard' weaves the upper in the house's Ancora fabric, a jacquard carrying the interlocking double-G monogram through the weave rather than printed on top. A single strap crosses the instep above a rounded toe. Jacquard builds the pattern during weaving, so the motif appears on both faces of the cloth.
