Official Look at the Nike Air Jordan 5 'Alternate Bel-Air'
Mark your calendars, because the Nike Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Bel-Air” is officially dropping on August 15! First leaked in December, this newest colorway is a follow-up to the 2013 Air Jordan 5 Retro “Bel-Air”.
Scroll down to see what’s so different about this alternative colorway, plus where to cop!
Taking departure from its predecessor’s more subdued color scheme, the upcoming “Alternate Bel-Air” features an all-white leather upper. The mesh panel also takes a lighter shade, while the tongue and eyestay area still retains the all-black design.
Then comes the colorful part: the two Jumpman logos on the tongue are in mismatched Racer Pink and Ghost Green. The same hues can be spotted along the sockliner, and the dual-tone motif is extended to the branding and “23” lettering below.
All of this sits atop an Air-assisted purple midsole, which is identical to the original “Bel-Air” colorway. The shark teeth detailing, however, features the combo of bright pink and deep blue.
To finish the design, a semi-translucent icy outsole and a hint of Ghost Green envelopes the outsole.
Compared with the grey “Bel-Air”, the “Alternate Bel-Air” is certainly asking for more attention since it gives way for the colorful accents to pop.
Don’t forget, the Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Bel-Air” will come out on August 15 with the price tag of $200 USD. So make sure to grab them quick!
