Nike reworked the Revolution 8 midsole with an EVA foam compound in place of the Phylon used on the previous version, improving cushioning and energy return. 'Black Anthracite' takes this women's pair through two dark tones, black across the breathable mesh upper with anthracite gray at the midsole and heel. Rocker geometry built into the midsole smooths each landing. The gray sole unit sits a step lighter than the upper, separating the two without introducing a third color.
