The Nike Field General traces to the 1980s, when Nike engineered it for quarterbacks who needed grip on artificial pitches. 'Light Bone Light Crimson' sets a warm off-white base against crimson on the Swoosh and heel detailing, across a synthetic leather and canvas upper. Crimson appears only on those two elements, leaving the rest of the upper tonal. Light Bone is a warm off-white rather than a true white, which softens the edge where the crimson Swoosh meets the panel.
