Nike is excited to bring back the OG colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Freshwater’ in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Ken Griffey Jr.'s debut signature shoe was originally released in 1996 and quickly became a fan favorite. The 2021 reissue features an adjustable ankle strap with raised Nike branding and Junior's 24 jersey number with the Seattle Mariners. The upper is built with white synthetic leather and black nubuck, while teal accents land on the sneaker's webbing pull tabs and visible Max Air units. The polyurethane midsole provides cushioning and support, making this a comfortable shoe to wear all day long.
