Avavav, the Florence-based label known for exaggerated proportions, reworks the Superstar with adidas. 'Black Carbon' runs black across the leather upper with carbon gray on the three stripes and the heel tab. The rubber shell toe keeps the vertical ribbing the 1969 original introduced. Avavav's intervention shifts the silhouette's proportions away from the standard last. The cupsole wraps rubber up around the base of the upper.
