Sharp triangular overlays replace the three stripes on this women's adidas Superstar, their shape drawn from the original Predator football boot of 1994. 'Predator' picks out those overlays and the heel tab in Silver Metallic, set against a black croc-textured leather base across the upper. The molded rubber shell toe stays as it is, the cap adidas added to protect the forefoot when the Superstar debuted as a 1970s basketball shoe. The Predator's rubber fins were built to grip the ball, a function the overlays reference in form only.
