The Lakers moved from Minneapolis to Los Angeles in 1960 and kept a name that described Minnesota's lakes rather than California's coast. Nike puts that franchise identity on a pregame tee in 'Black', with the wordmark set across the chest in a screen print. Cotton jersey forms the body. Pregame shirts are cut long and loose so a player can pull one over a uniform without disturbing it.
