Leather panels stitched with contrast thread build the quarter of the adidas Superstar II, with the construction left visible rather than smoothed over. 'Black Cream White' holds those panels in black while cream white carries the serrated three stripes, heel patch and midsole, and the rubber shell toe picks up the lighter tone. The cream reads warmer than the white of the midsole beneath it, which puts two different light tones on the shoe rather than one repeated across both.
