Danielle Cathari is a Dutch designer known for deconstructing and reassembling existing garments, an approach she brings to the PUMA Speedcat through a washed treatment of the suede. 'Mars Red' takes the upper to a faded brick red with the wash falling unevenly across the panels. The Formstrip is cut from the same washed material, and the low racing profile and thin flat outsole are left unchanged beneath it.
