Chinese illustrator Lang created Hirono for Pop Mart as a character built to hold intricate human emotion, from sadness through fear to joy. 'The Soul Corroder' works in eroded dark tones, with the costume's surface sewn in textured fabric that reads as worn away. The plush body is stuffed soft while the face stays flat and printed. A clip fastened above the costume hood carries the weight of the stuffed body below it.
