Y-3 adapts the adidas Adizero racing platform for the RCG, keeping the thin upper and the low weight while reworking the design under Yohji Yamamoto's direction. 'Black' runs the mesh upper and the sole unit dark throughout, with no contrast panel anywhere. The 3-Stripes are reduced to a minimal placement rather than running as full-length panels. A Y-3 mark sits at the heel, and the lacing crosses the instep asymmetrically.
