Nike built the Dunk in 1985 so its paneling could be recolored for college teams, and the Dunk Low Retro keeps that segmented leather upper. 'Soft Blue' fills the overlays and Swoosh with a pale blue over a white base. The leather holds the color flat and even across each panel, and a padded collar and rubber outsole complete a build that changed little as the shoe moved from the court into skate culture.
