Leading the lineup is the Nike Air Foamposite Pro 'LSU Tigers,' a bold interpretation of the basketball classic that celebrates Louisiana State University's unmistakable school identity.

 

The release represents a new direction for Nike's collegiate Foamposite designs. While select NCAA programs previously received exclusive Vaporposite Pro football cleats, those pairs were reserved for athletes. This upcoming collection brings the same school-inspired concept to retail, allowing fans to represent their favorite universities off the field.

 

 

For LSU, Nike takes inspiration directly from the school's Tigers mascot. A vibrant University Gold Foamposite shell serves as the foundation, covered in contrasting black tiger stripes that wrap across the sculpted upper.

 

Purple accents appear around the ankle collar and inner lining, incorporating another of LSU's signature colors. The combination creates a design that feels unmistakably connected to the university while maintaining the distinctive shape of the Air Foamposite Pro.

 

Custom details further reinforce the connection to Baton Rouge. LSU logos appear on the tongues and heels, while the phrase “Geaux Tigers” is printed across the heel pull tabs, referencing the rallying cry familiar to generations of LSU fans.
