An asymmetric lace cage and a sculpted sole unit carry the adidas Y-3 Tokyo, built under Yohji Yamamoto's long-running line with the brand. The 'Black Off White' build runs black across the upper and places off-white at the heel counter, the cage and the midsole. The upper material is finished matte rather than glossed, so it absorbs light instead of reflecting it. Y-3's own signature mark replaces any Trefoil placement on the shoe.
