Grain and carving marks run across 'Wooden Mickey', the character rendered as a turned and whittled wood figure with warm tonal shifts through the body. Mickey's round ears, shorts and gloved hands stay intact in the upright pose Pop Mart and Disney use throughout the Boundless Creativity collection. The grain lines are molded to run lengthwise along each limb rather than across it, which is the direction wood would be cut to keep a narrow form from splitting.
