Ayan Deng created Dimoo for Pop Mart as a shy boy with oversized eyes and a Baby Cloud resting in his hair, and The Missing Day series follows him through a day that slips away. The figures keep the character's pastel palette and child-like proportions. Pop Mart issues the series as blind boxes, so the design stays concealed until the box is opened. The Missing Day frames its scenes around rest and drifting rather than activity, which shapes the poses across the set.
