The Triple S.2 sole is a composite of three tread directions, molds drawn from running, basketball and track soles consolidated into one stacked unit. 'Eggshell' keeps the entire shoe in a pale off-white, from the mesh upper and synthetic overlays through to the layered sole. An allover distressing treatment works against that light tone, roughening the surface so the eggshell reads unevenly across the panels. Balenciaga builds the upper from textile and synthetic materials over a textile lining.
