Adidas marks Atlanta's 404 Day with this Adistar Control 5, named for the city's area code and observed each April 4 as a celebration of local music, sport and style. The shoe carries the model's layered overlay structure over an open mesh base, with a sculpted EVA midsole below. Adidas released the 404 Day footwear through Atlanta retailers rather than general distribution. The city's 1996 Olympic history sits behind the broader 404 Day program.
