Brain Dead, the Los Angeles studio run by Kyle Ng, works with adidas on pieces that push the Three Stripes into its own graphic language. 'Silver Metallic' gives these shorts a coated, reflective face rather than a matte woven one. An elasticated waistband with a drawcord sets the fit. The leg is cut wide and falls above the knee, and the co-branding sits small against a shell whose sheen does most of the visual work.
