adidas launched the SL 72 in 1972 for the Munich Olympics as the first shoe in adidas' Super Light line and the first to carry the Trefoil. This version comes through the Bob Marley Foundation and the Jamaica Football Federation. 'Jamaica' names the theme, running the flag's yellow, green and black across the nylon upper and suede overlays. Marley's image sits at the tongue, and an EVA midsole runs over a rubber outsole.
