A gum rubber outsole grounds this women's Nike Astrograbber Leather, its amber tone set beneath an off-white Sail upper with black across the Swoosh and heel. Full-grain leather forms that upper, replacing the mesh Nike used when the model launched in 1974. The waffle sole's deep square lugs stay beneath the gum compound. Those lugs were cut for AstroTurf rather than pavement, which is why the tread pattern reads deeper than a standard court sole.
