Ventrix insulation works through perforations that open under motion and close at rest, which is what lets The North Face use it in a hoodie rather than a static puffer. 'Onyx' takes the shell to a deep black across body, hood and sleeves. This was the second collection the two labels produced together, released in December 2025. The zip is two-way, so it opens from the hem as well as the throat.
