Maruko's grandfather Tomozo takes the subject of 'The Best Grandpa', rendered with the bald head, white mustache and traditional dress the animated series gives him, scaled into the Nyota format's oversized-head chibi proportions. Flat color fields fill the clothing in place of painted shading. Pop Mart molds the figure from ABS and PVC over a base with a magnet set inside. Tomozo is the household member most indulgent of Maruko in the source material.
