Yohji Yamamoto launched Y-3 with adidas in 2002 after noticing businessmen wearing sneakers with suits. The Utility Blouson applies that logic to outerwear, cut short in the body with a blouson's gathered hem. 'Black' covers the shell without contrast. The zipper opens the body from hem to neck in one pull. Pockets are positioned for access rather than symmetry, and the Y-3 mark is applied small rather than used as a graphic.
