Bad Bunny and adidas are expanding the reach of the adidas BadBo 1.0 by introducing a baseball-focused cleated version of the silhouette. The new design takes the visual identity of Bad Bunny’s signature model and adapts it for on-field performance while maintaining the elements that made the original sneaker stand out.
The upper stays largely faithful to the lifestyle version, featuring a white leather base paired with light blue paneling and bold blue suede overlays. Layered construction, perforated midfoot sections, and classic adidas branding remain intact, helping preserve the recognizable look of the BadBo 1.0 despite its shift into performance footwear.

The biggest transformation takes place underfoot. adidas replaces the traditional outsole with a metal-spiked baseball plate designed for traction on the diamond. Performance benefits are further enhanced through the addition of Lightstrike Pro cushioning, bringing one of adidas’ premier cushioning technologies into the cleat and providing a more responsive ride during play.
The color palette also carries a deeper connection to Bad Bunny’s roots. Shades of white and blue closely resemble the colors of Puerto Rico’s national flag, continuing a theme that has appeared throughout several of his adidas projects. The design also reflects Benito’s long-standing connection to baseball and Puerto Rican sports culture, giving the cleat a more personal identity than a standard footwear crossover.

By transforming the BadBo 1.0 into a baseball cleat, adidas continues exploring new ways to extend signature lifestyle models into performance categories while maintaining the storytelling and cultural influences that define the collaboration.
The Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 Cleat is expected to release during Summer 2026. Pricing has not yet been announced.
