Brushwork carries 'Painting Mickey' in Pop Mart's Disney Boundless Creativity series, with visible strokes and blended color worked across the character's body and head. Pop Mart and Disney keep Mickey's round ears, shorts and gloved hands recognizable beneath the painterly surface, holding the standing pose. The strokes are sculpted as raised ridges rather than printed flat, so the brush marks catch light along their edges the way wet paint does on a canvas.
